Jan Jorgensen

I'm a JavaScript engineer who likes to think a little differently. After a few years as a front-end engineering consultant it was either think weird or go insane. I've done a full-day training on computer science, I enjoy code reviews more than I'd like to admit, and I deeply miss being on a recruiting team.

I love being in front of people and talking. For example:

• I hosted an open-mic night in high school
• I have been a Quizmaster for Geeks Who Drink for 3 years
• Spent a WHOLE day teaching and doing everything I could to make dry computer science concepts super fun (and was told I succeeded)
• I love to facilitate meetings and retrospectives

I don't think there are many absolute truths in this world, but I believe it's ALWAYS a mistake to start working on slides before you decide what you're going to say.
